Our team is finalizing the numbers for the XPL perpetual incident. Compensation will be automatically transferred to affected users’ accounts in about an hour. A short update on the incident's cause: During the transition of XPL from the pre-market to the regular perpetual market, a configuration parameter was set incorrectly, resulting in abnormal price behavior. The index price was capped at $1 from 17:30 UTC on September 24. After the cap was removed, the trading pair remained in pre-market trading mode, causing an abnormal spike in the index price between 21:36 and 21:45 UTC. This isolated incident was fully resolved by 21:45 UTC. We want to be fully transparent - this was an internal misconfiguration, not an external exploit.
