Lido is getting ready to launch CSM v2 and we’re hyped for the rollout. But what’s changed in the v2 update? CSM was designed to help community stakers operate validators and earn rewards for securing Ethereum. v2 introduces several notable improvements, including: 💧 Designated Node Operator Types, including Identified Community Stakers 💧 Modular entry gates that offer different conditions for each Node Operator Type 💧 Priority queues and other benefits for Identified Community Stakers 💧 A strikes system to penalize bad performers CSM v2’s raison d’être is to support and grow the number of node operators. Tomorrow’s workshop will cover the changes in v2 and how to get started with Obol, the steps to becoming an ICS, and why squad staking is the most accessible way to stake with Lido on mainnet.
