Data-Driven Incentives β BID Emission Update Incentives run the world - it's time to update the BID emissions using a data-driven and experiment-based approach to drive our two core ecosystem KPIs: 1. The Health of $BID & Agent tokens 2. Ecosystem Revenue Our current emissions system is too complex and static. It lacks KPI tracking and a data-driven allocation of rewards. Therefore, we decided to sunset the existing system with the final distribution on Wednesday, September 10th, and introduce a new data-driven and campaign-based incentive program going forward. This article covers: 1. The old system 2. The new data-driven approach via SONAR 3. The implementation and next steps The Old System Agent tokens fuel the ecosystem through fees, which are used for development as well as buying back and LPing BID tokens. Every two weeks, BID emissions are calculated based on ecosystem revenue and distributed to the BID vaults of users who locked BID and/or agent tokens. 50% is given to users who lock BID in their vault; 40% are distributed to users who lock ecosystem agent tokens, based on: a) the revenue contributions of an agent b) the BID level-weighted proportion a wallet has locked of an agent token 10% goes to endorsers for signaling the quality of agents, based on the fees of an agent The problem: The current system is complex and difficult to understand, and the impact of incentives is not directly correlated to ecosystem KPIs. Data-Driven Incentives via Sonar It's time for a shift in ecosystem incentives towards a KPI-driven system. This is where our partner @sonar_ai comes into play. What is SONAR? SONAR is an upcoming CreatorBid agent developed by @Alphanomics_io - an established InfoFi project, focused on on-chain data analysis. SONAR is currently running mindshare campaigns for ecosystem agents like @karum_AI, @sire_agent, @Hermes_Agent, and @yapeclub. Going forward, CreatorBid emissions are no longer run on autopilot but collaboratively with SONAR in campaigns that closely measure impact on our ecosystem KPIs. How it works Rewarded Actions 1. Pure mindshare contributions: content on social media 2. Pure on-chain contributions: holding, locking, buying, LPing 3. Hybrid mindshare/on-chain contributions: a. Mindshare providers + own on-chain contributions (holding, staking, buying, LPing) b. Mindshare providers + triggering third-party on-chain contributions, measured in the timeframe after content posts Campaigns Rewards are issued in time-bound campaigns, targeted to ecosystem needs. Reward Types BID Level incentives, $BID and other token incentives (native tokens, agent tokens, stablecoins). Implementation & Next Steps For data integration to participate in SONAR campaigns tracking a combination of on-chain and on-social contributions, we ask users to opt in for data-sharing with SONAR. This involves sharing your X account as well as wallets linked to your CreatorBid account, allowing the SONAR team to track both on-chain and off-chain contributions. You can opt in and out via the SONAR page on CreatorBid (image below). The first campaign details will be announced shortly. Next steps: SONAR incentive programs are the first step towards decentralized and KPI-driven incentive management for the CreatorBid ecosystem. Stay tuned for more. gBID
