Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal has taken over as CEO of the Polygon Foundation. The project will focus on Polygon PoS and Agglayer, with plans to phase out zkEVM in 2025. Polygon PoS is expected to upgrade its testnet capacity to 1,000 TPS in early July, reaching 5,000 TPS by September-October, with a long-term target of 100,000 TPS.
