And if you haven’t been touching grass, your timeline is probably flooded with Cookie Snaps facts. But what’s true and what’s not? Can you only post about one project to maintain good quality metrics? Is it reserved for large creators only? Well, fact-checking is best done at the source, so here are four myths and truths of Cookie Snaps. ❌ MYTH: You can only post about one project on CT, or your score will tank. ✅ TRUTH: Loyalty is a factor when calculating SNAPS and mindshare. Shilling too many projects will lower your score, but discussing a few in a specific time period is okay. Cookie Snaps rewards premium loyalty, but the algorithm that detects it is much more complex than just counting how many projects you talk about. Being a fan of, or speaking about, multiple tokens won’t automatically lower your score. We use AI to detect whether you’re farming engagement for rewards across several projects, or being loyal to a few and occasionally mentioning others. The type of content, the timeframe in which you posted, and what exactly you posted all matter. The loyalty algorithm isn’t easy to game. ❌ MYTH: Cookie Snaps is reserved for large creators only. Small creators can’t take part. ✅ TRUTH: Phase one is open to inner influence circle accounts only, but doors will open to everyone soon. We’re currently in phase one of the Cookie Snaps campaign. Our experience with Cookie Affiliate showed that opening the platform too early led to bots and shillers abusing referrals to farm points. Right now, only accounts with a strong network can join, but this will change when the first Snaps campaign drops tomorrow. EVERYONE will be eligible to earn SNAPS, though referrals might still be limited to verified accounts. ❌ MYTH: If you didn’t get into Cookie Snaps now, you can’t use cookie.fun v1.0 alpha. ✅ TRUTH: Everyone who registered can access opinion leader data on cookie.fun v1.0 alpha. If you registered by connecting your Twitter but didn’t get access to Snaps, you can still use the cookie.fun 1.0 platform and view data about projects and opinion leaders - features reserved for logged-in creators. Access to the platform is restricted only for inviting others, but the data is available to everyone. And soon, anyone will be able to generate SNAPS in active campaigns. ❌ MYTH: cookie.fun v1.0 alpha and Cookie Snaps are invite-only. ✅ TRUTH: You don’t need an invite to join, but joining as part of someone’s network may bring future benefits. You don’t need an invite to join cookie.fun v1.0 or access Cookie Snaps. You can simply sign up with your X account. BUT if others join through your referral link, you’ll earn 10% of their SNAPS forever, so it’s worth inviting others.
