We are excited to announce that after much consideration, Secret Network is moving away from TEE and exclusively to Zero Knowledge technology! Why the change? TEE technology is not fast and efficient enough for general-purpose applications and not flexible enough for Turing-complete smart contracts that protect privacy. ZK, with its focus on scaling public blockchains and creating proofs, makes it a better alternative to privacy preserving applications involving complex use cases and arbitrary numbers of users. It simply scales better. Therefore, we are proud to pioneer the future with ZK and will be sharing much more in the coming days! Join us on our next chapter of Secret Network!
