Introducing Open Campus: Building the Open Economy in Kuala Lumpur We’re gathering some of the world’s most ambitious Web3 founders to build the Open Economy - together, under one roof, in Kuala Lumpur. For too long, access to critical funding, networks, and mentorship has been limited to those in the "right" places - Silicon Valley, New York, London. We’re changing that. Open Campus (https://www.campus.scroll.io/) is a space for builders who are ready to launch, grow, and collaborate - no matter where they are from. Apply to Open Campus (https://tally.so/r/wQOqbg) What is Open Campus? If you’ve ever tried to build something meaningful in Web3, you know being surrounded by builders, in person, can accelerate everything. Welcome to Open Campus. Over eight weeks, selected teams will join us in Kuala Lumpur to build real products, gain traction, and the potential opportunity for funding and mentorship that typically would be hard to find. How It Works Open Campus is a builders’ haven turned up to the max. A hands-on program focused on shipping real products and delivering real-world impact. Participants should expect: Eight weeks of inventive building and collaboration - structured around lectures, feedback sessions, and personalized office hours. A focused cohort of up to 10 teams - with a maximum of 40 people - inspiring meaningful connections and personalized attention. Championship demo day - showcase what you’ve built to the Scroll ecosystem and top investors. Cold, hard crypto - funding opportunities up to 500,000 SCR for teams that demonstrate exceptional progress and promise. Why Kuala Lumpur? We could have built Open Campus anywhere. We chose Kuala Lumpur intentionally. For builders in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, KL is more accessible, affordable, and welcoming than many other tech hubs. Visas are easier to obtain. Cost of living is lower than in the US or EU. A fast-growing tech scene, with proximity to emerging markets and regional investors. We wanted a hub where global builders may gather without barriers - and Kuala Lumpur is perfect. Who Should Apply? Open Campus is for builders who are serious about launching or scaling a legit Web3 product. We are looking for: Technical founders ready to accelerate their product development. Builders who may not have launched on Scroll mainnet yet, but are ready to build with purpose. Early-stage Web3 start-ups - mentorship is tailored to your individual needs. If you participated in Scroll Open, you will be given priority consideration - and the grand prize winner of Scroll Open automatically secures a spot. You must have a working MVP, prototype, or meaningful traction to be accepted.
