ABOUT THE SERIES The Archangel is the sixth portrait in the Lost Halos collection, a series that explores themes of second chances, redemption, and salvation. A recurring figure in Eva Eller’s work, the Archangel serves as an iconic representation of her angels. As messengers of God, archangels are entrusted with divine roles, from delivering sacred announcements to offering guidance. While most remain steadfast in their duty, some have strayed from grace, their fall embodying pride, rebellion, and the eternal struggle between light and shadow. ABOUT THE ARTIST Eva Eller’s work explores themes of spiritual transformation and sacred knowledge through Neo-Renaissance Mysticism Art. Drawing inspiration from alchemy, theology, Freemasonry, and Rosicrucian traditions, she reimagines the techniques of the Old Masters through digital painting, crafting allegorical works that evoke a sacred and contemplative space. At the core of her art lies a deep search for meaning as she examines her relationship with God and the world while contemplating fundamental questions, particularly Christian universalism and the concept of Apokatastasis—the belief in the ultimate reconciliation and redemption of all beings, including the damned and the Devil.
