headed to ethdenver in a bit but been chatting with a few eco teams on how to maximize conferences the most important thing to optimize for as a founder is your network - fundraising, users, product feedback, and most importantly friendships. when we started movement, i spent 2022-2024 hustling the conference circuit - going to every single conference i could get my hands on, every side event, every dinner and meeting as many people as i could. find high signal events, scout out who in the room could help you, and swallow the pill to approach them. the last part is probably the hardest but most important because its important for people to see your face and connect - telegram is just too crowded. after that, its about routinely doing it. for me, it was moving to nyc in a shitty east village cubicle and meeting everyone i could. id attribute the ability to fundraise the first few rounds after we were struggling directly to new york - the highest concentration of venture and founders. movement built its brand in new york and will continue to support eco teams in the city. tldr dont underestimate conferences - its a blessing in disguise. approach every event like a mission (talk to atleast 5 people that can help you scale) and prioritize events that directly help you (if you're building in ZK - focus mostly on the zk events) happy networking and see you guys this week :)
