The secret behind our technological edge lies in one key factor: surrounding ourselves with the best minds in the industry. Today, we are thrilled to welcome Professor Moni Naor, who joins our Science Council as Principal Researcher. Moni has made groundbreaking contributions to computer science, including pioneering research on public-key systems secure against chosen ciphertext attacks, non-malleable cryptography, visual cryptography, and innovative methods for verifying human users (leading to the concept of CAPTCHA). The very first mention of Proof of Work was made by him with Cynthia Dwork. At StarkWare, he will primarily focus on topics such as Bitcoin cryptography and the decentralization of @Starknet; two critical areas for Starknet’s development and central to our current efforts.
