Manta's Gas Gain marks the L2 first rewards program that gives back to the community for their contribution to the network through a rebate program paired with dedicated Manta rewards. Exploiters/Sybil Attacks 122 exploiter addresses removed; rankings readjusted We are committed to ensuring the success of Manta Gas Gain as a program designed to serve a purpose: create a rewarding experience for the Manta users as you interact with all the 200+ different ecosystem applications and partners that you love. From the analysis conducted by the team and thanks to the due diligence of the community, 122 sybil addresses were removed from the Top 400 list on Gas Gain. The Top 400 list was then updated accordingly, based on the existing sequence of rankings from Gas Gain users. Future Updates When we started Manta Gas Gain, we made the conscious decision to split the program into Epochs in order to help us with experimentation to smooth out the program over time. Each Epoch lasts for a period of 2 months, and the first Epoch concluded very recently. One of our top learnings is that we need to continue expanding our adoption of Manta Gas Gain. What this means in the short-term is an adjustment of the next Epoch's rewards pool; the rebate functionality and amount will not change. This gives the flexibility to continue making the Gas Gain program a rewarding experience for many Epochs to come. Furthermore, we are aware of the commitment that users are making to the Manta Pacific ecosystem as part of the Gas Gain program. Your daily and/or weekly activity help drive momentum for the growth of the network. As a result, we are planning additional activities, rewards and activations around time-based engagement.
