Summary: ECC has discovered a security issue within our Zashi iOS software that may expose the address book’s entries to Apple. We are working on a resolution that will be available as soon as next week. Detail: Apple allows iOS users to back up their data to Apple iCloud. When this option is turned on, Zashi wallet information will also be stored on Apple’s servers. Any information that is not encrypted on the device may be accessible by Apple. The Zashi address book entries are not explicitly encrypted, and the entries may be accessible by Apple within any backups to iCloud. Users should avoid using the address book to store sensitive information until we release a new version that encrypts the address book on the device.
