Finsig is taking Polkadot mobile 📲 Through their project, PolkadotKit, Finsig is unlocking easier and more accessible mobile dapp development in the DOT eco. Read on to learn more about DF Grantee @finsigIO and their work ⬇️ What is PolkadotKit? This project will enable devs to directly integrate smoldot into mobile apps without third-party frameworks 💡 🎯 The primary goal of PolkadotKit is to develop native light client packages for both iOS and Android and allow devs to interact with smoldot, a light client implementation for Substrate chains, without deep Rust knowledge. This will help bridge the gap between native app development and Web3 by removing the need for additional layers and trusted intermediaries. It will also make it easier for mobile devs to deploy decentralized apps on Polkadot 🤜🤛 @finsigIO plans to use its grant to further develop/expand the PolkadotKit project and seek additional treasury funding to build complete Swift + Kotlin SDKs. 🤓 For more details, see the original announcement. x.com/Web3foundation…
