Soneium Minato's dual upgrade to Granite, the latest version of the Optimism OP Stack, is set to launch in just 4 days—Monday, October 28th. 📅 We're currently on the Ecotone version, so this upgrade will also include Fjord updates. 🛠️ What's New? • RIP-7212 precompile to reduce gas costs for smart wallets ⛽ • Improved network resilience and efficiency ⚡ ⏳ Brief delays for pending transactions and minor downtime may occur during the upgrade rollout on Oct 28th. ⚙️ Important Notes for Node Operators & Developers: • Node Operators: You must upgrade your node setup. This update extends the challenge period from 30 minutes to 7 days, aligning with the Superchain Ecosystem. 🚨 Important Updates for End Users & Bridge Operators: • End Users: Withdrawals initiated less than seven days before the upgrade will take longer to finalize. You will need to re-prove transactions if they are not completed before the upgrade.
