Your supplier shares a wallet address. You instantly know their balance, every payment they've received, and the net terms of every contract they've signed. That's not transparency. That's a leak. Payment terms should stay between the parties involved, where they belong. You can start using confidential tokens like cUSDC today via the Zama app at http://app.zama.org, or through supported venues like @bronwallet. More wallet support coming soon. And if you want to start supporting confidential tokens in your app, reach out to the team, DMs are open ;)

Circle's compliance system flagged an external depositor's wallet. Because that wallet held funds in the cUSDC contract, the entire contract was swept into a standard holding freeze. This is collateral damage, not a sanction against the Zama Protocol. Our legal team is already engaged to isolate the flagged address and restore access for all unaffected participants as quickly as possible.
