71% of SPCXon trading routed through 1inch in first week SpaceX RWAs attracted substantial interest when they were launched earlier this month. And a large share of Ondo’s SPCXon trading has been routed through 1inch. Access is only part of the RWA story. Tokenized assets need markets. They need liquidity. And when liquidity is fragmented, they need execution infrastructure that can connect traders to the best available routes. That is already visible with SPCXon, the SpaceX RWA issued by Ondo. In the first week since trading went live on June 12, 71% of SPCXon’s total trading volume of $9.87 mln was routed through 1inch, according to Ondo. SpaceX RWAs moved from launch to liquidity Earlier, 1inch explained how eligible users can trade SpaceX RWAs, including SPCXon, issued by Ondo. SpaceX RWAs are tokenized instruments that provide exposure through issuer-specific structures, with their own terms, restrictions and eligibility requirements. The initial market activity involving SPCXon proves that RWAs are no longer just being issued on-chain. They are being traded through DeFi infrastructure. Why routing matters for RWAs RWA markets can be fragmented. Liquidity may sit across different venues, chains and pools. For traders, that can mean worse prices, higher price impact or more manual steps. 1inch helps solve this execution problem by finding efficient routes across available liquidity. Instead of checking separate venues manually, eligible users can access SPCXon through a familiar swap flow. For new RWA markets, this matters. Better routing can help make tokenized assets easier to access and trade, while keeping the experience closer to standard DeFi swaps. SPCXon shows the role of 1inch in tokenized markets The fact that a large proportion of SPCXon trading has been routed through 1inch shows how important execution infrastructure is becoming for RWAs. Issuers bring assets on-chain. But traders still need a practical way to reach liquidity. That is where aggregation matters. 1inch connects users to available liquidity and helps route trades efficiently across DeFi. As more real-world assets become tokenized, this layer can become even more important. RWAs need more than issuance The RWA market is often discussed through the lens of tokenization. But issuance alone is not enough. For tokenized assets to become useful, people need to be able to find them, evaluate them and trade them with clear execution conditions. SPCXon is an early example of that next phase. It shows how tokenized exposure, issuer infrastructure and DeFi routing can work together in a live market. A new market structure is taking shape SpaceX RWAs have brought attention to tokenized private-market exposure. But the broader trend is larger than one asset. More traditional assets are moving on-chain. As that happens, liquidity, routing and execution will become central to the user experience. 1inch is already helping power that layer. You found a token you want to buy. You have dollars. Your wallet has nothing yet. So now: find an exchange, complete KYC, fund the account, copy your wallet address, send, wait, hope you got it right. In 1inch Wallet, you buy crypto directly through @moonpay provider – card or bank transfer, depending on your region. No switching apps, no copy-pasting addresses. Fiat in. Crypto in your wallet. At @ETHGlobal New York, 4 teams had 36 hours to build on 1inch Aqua. Here's who won: 🥇 RiverSwap @ProofOfLeo / $2,000 LPs bleed to arb bots because fees are static. RiverSwap auctions the right to set the fee — whoever wins captures it. Liquidity stays in wallets via Aqua, never pooled. 🥈 Lotus @_the_pot / $2,000 Directional liquidity primitive. Deposit across ascending price bins, takers buy cheapest-first, proceeds can never re-enter the market. No re-buying, no round-tripping. 🥉 TenorFi @ShaunRiser @0xYudhishthra @tomasmazz @axelg_eth @lain_calvo / $1,000 Variable funding rates on perps create unpredictable costs. TenorFi lets traders lock in a fixed rate — Aqua pulls the premium just-in-time each hour, zero collateral upfront. Ballast @mcmoodoo / $1,000 Pool quotes prices as if it holds more capital than it does. Chainlink feed runs inside the swap and caps trades at fair value. LP gets depth without getting picked off. Congrats to all four 🏆

Wall Street is coming onchain. The SEC is reportedly preparing an "innovation exemption" for tokenized stocks. Nasdaq has a framework live. DTCC starts production trades in July. NYSE is building. The venues that run global equity markets are moving to blockchain rails and they are moving fast. This isn't DeFi projects competing for supremacy anymore. Major institutions are entering with deep pockets, millions of customers and hundreds of years of market history. They bring legitimacy but they also bring complexity. More players means more venues. More venues means more fragmentation. Different asset classes, regulatory models and geographies each creating their own liquidity silos. Regulatory clarity doesn't automatically solve that. The open, efficient, borderless promise of on-chain finance only gets realised if someone can operate fluently across all of it. Without experienced on-chain operators in the infrastructure the efficiency stays theoretical. The access never reaches the end user. You end up with a blockchain based system but with the same fragmented liquidity limitations. As the market develops the demand for aggregation doesn't shrink, it compounds. Someone needs to dig through every platform, every model and every jurisdiction to find the best price and most efficient execution route. 1inch has been building for exactly this. Direct access to tokenized securities for whitelisted users is already in progress. The more venues that come online, the more that matters.

    Fluid 🌊 (@0xfluid)

New article from @1inch When ETH utilization on Aave hit 100%, Fluid built an exit in hours, allowing ETH lenders to swap aWETH into wstETH or weETH, regaining immediate liquidity and reducing risk while staying on Aave. $440M+ processed alongside @1inch and ecosystem partners. The lesson: every protocol needs automated limits. Fluid's automated limits acted as intended and protected the protocol from further damage. Next: we are releasing the most advanced oracle and monitoring infrastructure in DeFi, ingesting multiple data sources and reacting automatically to incidents in real time. More soon 🌊

Agentic DeFi: when AI agents start trading and managing your portfolio DeFi was built to cut out intermediaries. No bank deciding what you can do with your money. But that freedom came with a different kind of friction. Monitoring positions. Switching chains. Comparing routes. When you're fully responsible for your funds, staying on top of market movements takes real work. A new model is emerging to handle that effort. It's called agentic DeFi. From manual actions to autonomous execution At its core, agentic DeFi means autonomous software agents that can plan and execute actions on-chain on your behalf. Instead of manually performing each step - swapping tokens, bridging assets, rebalancing positions - you define an objective. The agent executes within the parameters you set. This is a shift from interaction to delegation. Traditional automation in DeFi already exists. Trading bots, arbitrage scripts and yield optimizers have been around for years. But they follow fixed logic. They stick to their initial rules and don't adapt. Agentic systems go further. They can process context, adjust strategies within user-defined limits and coordinate actions across protocols. They're built not just to execute - but to make decisions. This became possible thanks to recent advances in AI, particularly systems capable of reasoning across multiple steps and interacting with external tools and APIs. Why DeFi needs agents Ethereum's scaling strategy made DeFi faster and cheaper, but also more fragmented. Liquidity is spread across different chains. Execution paths are more complex. Even a simple swap requires finding the best route, minimizing slippage, managing gas costs and sometimes moving assets across chains. For a human, this is time-consuming. For a machine, it's a tractable optimization problem. Agentic DeFi is a response to this growing complexity. Not another layer on top - a way to manage the layers that already exist. What agentic systems actually do An agent in DeFi is not a single function. It's a workflow. It can monitor market conditions, evaluate options, choose a strategy and execute across multiple protocols. It can react to changes, update its plan and keep running without constant input. In trading, this means continuous optimization. An agent can reassess swap routes in real time rather than locking in a choice once. In liquidity management, it can adjust positions dynamically as conditions shift, rather than relying on static allocations. The pattern is consistent: multi-step decision-making combined with on-chain execution. A shift in user experience The current model is interface-driven. Users click through steps, confirm transactions, manage each action individually. Agentic DeFi introduces an intent-driven model. Instead of asking "which route should I take?", you specify an outcome: execute a swap under certain conditions, maintain a target allocation, optimize yield within defined constraints. The system handles the rest. This fits a broader trend in blockchain design toward intent-based architectures, where users define goals rather than individual transactions. The infrastructure behind the shift Agentic DeFi depends on the underlying structure of DeFi itself. Smart contracts provide programmable execution. APIs and aggregation layers expose data and routes. On-chain systems enable permissionless interaction. AI adds a layer that can interpret this environment and act within it. This combination - programmable finance plus adaptive decision-making - is what makes agentic systems possible. And it explains why this is happening now. DeFi complexity has reached a point where manual management doesn't scale. AI systems have matured enough to handle multi-step reasoning and execution. New capabilities, new risks Autonomous systems introduce new possibilities and new failure modes. Agentic execution carries real risks: execution errors, reliance on third-party data feeds, interaction with vulnerable smart contracts. Security becomes more complex, not less. Poor inputs produce poor outcomes - the agent is only as reliable as the infrastructure it connects to. This makes infrastructure quality the central variable. Not the agent's intelligence in isolation, but the quality of the systems it operates within. From tools to participants Agentic DeFi is part of a broader shift toward what some are calling an "agent economy" - where software systems don't just assist users but actively participate in economic activity. Agents can manage assets within user-controlled wallets, execute transactions and interact with other agents. Blockchain infrastructure provides the environment where this can happen without intermediaries. DeFi, in this context, becomes less about interfaces and more about coordination between autonomous systems. The next stage DeFi has evolved in stages. Manual trading gave way to automated scripts. Scripts gave way to composable protocols. Now protocols are giving way to autonomous coordination. Agentic DeFi is the next step in that progression. It doesn't replace what exists - it changes how that system gets used. The question is no longer how to access DeFi. It's how to operate within it efficiently.

There's a reason 1inch grew from dApp to fundamental DeFi infrastructure. It's not just 'best displayed price' - it's also the most effective execution. That means lower slippage, near-zero security risk and smarter fulfilment. In other words - the best abstraction layer wins. See @TheBlockCo's report for more
